Legal claims related to natural gas price manipulation by gas transmission companies

The LaGarde Law Firm is currently investigating legal claims for several independent gas producers related to Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) allegations that several natural gas pipeline companies in Texas artificially lowered the price of natural gas by flooding the market at the Houston Ship Channel hub with excess gas during bid weeks between 2003 and 2005.  These allegations have also been made by the United States Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
