Firestone Tires

Mary Pat Ellis of the Lagarde Law Firm was part of a
team of lawyers that recently defeated Ford Motor
Company in a product liability lawsuit involving the
Ford Explorer Rollover and Firestone Tires. A Fort
Myers, Florida, federal jury awarded a victim’s family
$5.3 million in compensatory damages and was
considering punitive damages when lawyers for the
family and Ford settled the case for an undisclosed
amount. The family of Bob Miller, who was 57 when he
died, filed the suit. Miller was on his way home from
his roofing job and was wearing his seat belt and a
hard hat when a tire lost its tread. He lost control
of the Ford Explorer and it rolled over. The lead
attorneys were Richard Denney from Norman, Oklahoma,
and Marcus Viles from the Viles & Ellis firm in Ft.
Myers. The Lagarde Law Firm has represented over 130
victims of defective Firestone tires and Ford Explorer
rollovers in Texas, Florida, and Tennessee. If you or
